So, this is my first blog.
I'm using this to document my current work in progress during my final year of University, where the majority of my work is focused on developing a Portfolio.
It's split into 2 major sections
- An interactive Game Audio implementation, using Unreal Engine 4 and WWise, where the player can explore several rooms that each feature different Sound and Implementation techniques.
- Total Sound Replacement of linear footage, For this i have chosen footage from Naughty Dog's 2013 game The Last of Us, which is a title i admire deeply for its Sound Design. I have gone into this with the idea of recording, synthesising and processing every sound entirely myself where possible, a task which i have managed to achieve, (except for the score and things which are difficult to source such as Gunshots)
So for this reason i'm going to dedicate the next 2 blog posts into outlining my progress with each area of my portfolio, check them out!
